Wow, when I started this blog yesterday I didn't think I would get some questions this fast. The person who emailed me wrote that she and her boyfriend had been together for over 4 years and she's deeply in love with him. She wants to get married and she wants him to ask her, but the way things are going she doesn't think that he ever will.
Well here's how I feel. I think that if you guys are in a committed relationship then he should know by now if he wants to spend the rest of his life with you.But there are some men who just don't know if marriage is what they want. Maybe he is just scared to ask you. Have you talked to him about it? He seem like a really good guy from what you wrote to me. So again give him time, but not too much. Some men think that as long as they keep you happy you wont worry about marriage. I have been in the same situation for over 10 years. But the only difference is that we have 2 kids together and we live together. I love him and that is one reason why I want to get married and the fact that we have kids together and lately we have been talking about buying a new car and moving into a house. And I told him before we make anymore life changing decisions we should think about being married. We are also thinking about staring a business soon. And what if something happens to where we end up breaking up? I mean I don't want to , but I wont have really any say so as to what I get because I'm just his girlfriend. Those aren't the only reasons i want to get married, but I feel like if I continue investing my all into something that isn't going to last then i will be the one bankrupt in the end.
If you can see yourself being with this one person and only this person then why not make it official?
